JDOM Opening Update
I would like to thank all of our family, friend, Angle Gift donors, and partners for your generous donations. We are also greatful for our volunteers, they are always right on time, because of people like you, we are still able to providing academic, social and spiritual services to the children and youth of Jefferson Davis County, however, we can only work with five students until we receive our license from the State Dept of Child Care. We are working daily to comply with their guidelines. It had been a long process, hopeful we will have them soon. We praise God for the encouragement that we receive from you.
We moved into our new site around October 22, 2010. We have worked day and nights, even a Sunday afternoon to get things in order. Most of the children space is ready, however, we have a large room in the back that will house the restroom, small kitchen , storage, and small dining area, it is still an on going project. The cost has been more than we anticipated, and we still need equipment and amenities for a girls restroom, hot water heater, kitchen sink, material for back steps and shelves.
You are in our prays. We ask that you Keep supporting us with your prayers, encouragements, and financial gifts, we willingly work. Rosalynn Carter,” Do what you can to show you care about other people, and you will make our world a better place.’
