JDOM Now
We at JDOM are still in the licensing process. We are waiting for the lawyer to finalize the purchasing process to secure the building. Sister Abrams and I are taking care of our qualification process. We are working with one of our 3rd grade student from last year.
There are much to do, so remember us in your prayers as we continue to touch lives one at a time. We will appreciate your continue financial support. We will share our program, “Angel Gift”, which is this year fundraiser soon.
You Are Special
We just ended the summer with a three day Vacation Bible School at the apartment complex on Hwy 42 in Prentiss, by request of Judge Ronnie Barnes, were we shared on the topic. “You Are Special.” Mrs. Abrams and I was delighted to have Mrs. France Hall, who lives in the area assist us with the children.
The summer is quickly coming to a close, and the beginning of a new school year is approaching fast. Let us prepare our children for a successful school year by encouraging them to be at their level in every area: academically, socially, and spiritually, and treating others like they want to be treated.
NOTICE: JDOM will not be able to open by August 16, 2010. To work with the children, we are required to have a Daycare license. We have started the process. However, until the process is completed, I will be calling each parent to make special arrangements for children that need early help with homework.

February 2010 Update
The students made valentine cards. We helped work on their Black History report that went on a story board for a reading grade for school (they had to read a book or get information on a person from the computer and arrange it on a story board). The boards were put on exhibit in the gym at school. What talent! Three of our students father was in an accident, he has a head injury, pray for him, the children, and his parents who will be taking care of him and the children.
